French president congratulates hero intern who disarmed Dublin city knife suspect - 'It makes us all proud'
Alan Loren-Guille, a French student interning in Dublin, bravely disarmed a knife-wielding attacker who was targeting school children.
Loren-Guille's act of bravery was praised by French President Emmanuel Macron and the Ministry for Europe and Foreign Affairs in Paris.
The restaurant where Loren-Guille was interning commended him for his heroic actions and expressed gratitude that he prevented further harm from occurring. [ more ]
